Part -Time 19.5 hours weekly fixed term contract to 31 March 2016

Salary UKP27,123 - UKP30,978 pro-rata

Based at The Lancashire Conservation Studios in Preston you will
provide a comprehensive practical and preventative specialist works
of Art on Paper conservation advice and support service for
Lancashire County Council Museum Service and its clients and users.
This will include maintaining and improving National Museum
Accreditation collection care and storage standards at museum sites
across the Service.  The successful candidate will be expected to
promote conservation and collection care to staff and to the wider
public through education, training, public programmes and outreach
work.

Combined with this you will contribute to the income generation of
the Museum Service through external project work, advice and
training in all aspects of museum works of art on paper
conservation.  This post is temporary until 31 March 2016 pending
the review of the service, with the post-holder based at: Lancashire
Conservation Studios, Museum HQ, Preston.
