Conservator, Time Based Media Tate Gallery 12 Months Fixed-Term Band/ Salary: 3L - UKP29,300 per annum Hours: Full Time Reporting to: Conservation Manager/ Conservator Location: Tate Stores, Southwark, London Reference: TG1117 We are seeking an experienced time based media conservator to work within our Time Based Media Conservation team. The role will support programme activity focused on exhibitions, displays and loans. The role will focus on assessing, processing and preparing time based media artworks for both installation and loans. You will either hold a recognised qualification in Time Based Media Conservation or have equivalent relevant experience. You will need to be able to work independently on the preparation, conservation and installation of time based media artworks. You will also need to communicate effectively and provide specialist advice to a range of stakeholders. It is also desirable to have an understanding of emerging themes and challenges within the discipline of time based media. It is essential to work flexibly across the various programme areas and to have analytical and problem-solving skills, organisational, time-management and planning skills.
