Stone conservation classes sought

I have been volunteering heavily in the Southwestern USA National
Parks fixing areas which have been hard hit by graffiti, and was
looking for stone conservation classes and workshops in Southern
California or Southwestern USA to better expand my understanding of
issues in conservation, stone conservation and restoration
techniques.

Graffiti is a huge issue in the National Parks in the American
Southwest, and for the moment I'm doing as much volunteering and
interning as possible to better expand my knowledge of what
techniques the rangers and others are using, but would very much
like to take professional stone conservation level classes and
workshops for a more complete understanding of the issues involved;
what one can do oneself and when one should really call in a
conservator?
