X-ray equipment for archaeological materials

I work as a conservator of archaeological objects for Archaeology
South East, that is the commercial unit of the Institute of
Archaeology at University College London.

Since we deal with a lot of metal work as well as human bones from
our excavations, I was required to find out about companies/prices
for purchasing a x-ray machine, possibly from a UK company.

I did a brief search on the Internet and I only seem to find
companies in USA or Canada; this would involve custom and I guess
that could complicate matters.

I would also like to have more specialist advice from fellow
conservators, if you can advise me on a good company that can also
do maintenance, just in case something goes wrong.

We would need a quite compact unit (we do not have a lot of space)
with a capacity up to 120Kv. I was thinking of digital radiography,
but I am not sure how expensive that could be.

Sorry if this message seems a big vague and please do not hesitate
to contact me.
