CeROArt is pleased to announce the publication of a special issue,
Tribute to R. Marijnissen, the author of the work Degradation,
conservation, restauration de l'oeuvre d'art (1967).  In this
volume, a number of international contributors--curators,
conservators, restorers and art historians--pay tribute to the
author and bear witness to his influence in the fields he has
exemplified: history of Conservation-Restoration, ethics, training
in Conservation and knowledge of works of art.  The fact that
Melanges are available via Open Access reflects a position often
stated by R. Marijnissen: information and public awareness are a key
part of conservation.  So we invite you to read this publication and
to distribute it widely
