Decorative Arts Conservation Section Manager

Arts and Heritage Recruitment is looking for a full-time, permanent,
Decorative Arts Conservation Section Manager to work for a
prestigious conservation company in Berkshire, UK.

The purpose of the role is to coordinate the workload and manage
resources within the Decorative Arts Section ensuring it produces
quality work, on time, to budget and to the clients' satisfaction.
The role involves regular travel in and around the local area and
surrounding counties, so you must be able to drive.  You will be
managing anything up to six projects at a time and you must be
accustomed to prioritising workload and managing on-site teams.

The work involves working Monday to Friday, 7.45am to 5.30pm.  The
role is permanent and immediately available for the right candidate.

Duties Involved:

    To work with and report to the General Manager and Company
    Director

    To work and liaise with other Section Managers, and on and off
    site contractors

    Project management

    Providing practical conservation advice and guidance as and when
    needed

    Sharing practical knowledge with on-site teams

    Ensuring and overseeing health and safety regulations

    Developing and reviewing team members/ decorative arts
    conservators work performance

    Monitoring and managing resources

    Developing procedures to maintain quality standards

    Budget control and cost management

Essential Criteria:

    3 years + decorative arts conservation experience

    Excellent communication and customer service skills

    Driving licence

    Budget management experience

    Management experience

    Fluency in spoken and written English

    An eye for quality and be able to produce results of the highest
    quality
