Lecturer in Conservation University of Lincoln, School of History and Heritage Brayford Pool campus Lincoln UK Salary: From UKUKP31,342 per annum Closing Date: Tuesday 12 May 2015 Reference: AAD4009 The Lincoln School of History and Heritage seeks to recruit an ambitious scholar to the post of Lecturer in Conservation. The successful candidate will join a growing and dynamic team of historians based in the School of History and Heritage which delivers degree programmes in History and in Conservation. The successful candidate will be expected to teach practical and theoretical modules across the Conservation programme and make a significant contribution to the research and enterprise activities within the subject area. The Lincoln School of History and Heritage has an outstanding international reputation for its research and teaching with rising year on year rates of student satisfaction and a thriving research environment. We are looking for a Lecturer who is keen to develop his/her research and professional practice alongside their teaching and is eager to play a full and active part in the life of a vibrant, forward-looking subject area and School. You will have excellent skills in scholarship, pedagogy, administration and communication and would be expected to make a significant contribution to our REF 2020 submission. The appointee will: Work with colleagues on curriculum development and the advancement of relevant discipline areas within the university. Deliver teaching over a range of modules within an established programme. Undertake student tutoring and support. Contribute to the research and professional practice profile of the School.
