AIC awards committee member sought

AIC Awards Committee Opening

3-Year term, beginning 2015
Submission deadline: May 1, 2015

The Awards Committee seeks a new member to make up a team of 3 AIC
members.

The Awards Committee charge is to:

    Maintain, monitor, and evaluate the process and documents used
    to select awardees.

    Promote the importance of the awards and invite nominations
    through various sources and means

    Review submitted applications and present detailed
    recommendations of awards, including the rationale, in the form
    of a report to the AIC board

    Gather biographic information on award recipients and prepare
    the presentation remarks in advance of the annual meeting.

    Recommend the establishment of additional awards to the AIC
    board, if appropriate

    Provide written articles on the awardees for the AIC Blog or
    Newsletter, and work with AIC staff to produce appropriate
    publicity such as press releases.

The Awards Committee communicates primarily via email correspondence
and occasional conference calls.

The Awards Committee welcomes applicants from any specialty.
