Coatings for outdoor sculpture

This really depends on the source of your salt.  If it's coming up
from ground water or within the concrete itself, then coating is
likely to exacerbate the problem.  However, if it's from an external
source you may be able to use a starch-based sacrificial
anti-graffiti coating to prevent salt ingress.
