Training and Development Manager Institute of Conservation (Icon) London office Full-time Permanent post Responsible to Head of Professional Development Responsible for: Accreditation Officer (part-time) Salary: UKP33,660 per annum plus 6% pension contribution Closing Date: 8 May 2015 at noon Icon is the lead membership body for the conservation of cultural heritage. Icon is the only organisation that has the overview across all of the disciplines dealing with the conservation of moveable heritage. It also provides a focal point for all others who share a commitment to improving the conservation of our cultural heritage. The Institute aims to advance knowledge and education in conservation and achieve the long term preservation and conservation of cultural heritage. It does this by providing guidance, advocacy, training and education opportunities and by uniting the conservation profession and the wider heritage community. This is a pivotal and operational role for the Professional Development team. You will manage, coordinate and execute Icon's professional development programmes: an established professional accreditation process, Professional Accreditation of Conservator Restorers (PACR), and a successful work-based learning programme, Icon's Internship Programme (IIP).
