The Society of Gilders is hosting this five day event featuring
professional, hands-on classes in all aspects of the gilding arts.

The classes include:

    Water Gilding               3 days
    Oil Gilding                 2 days
    Restoration                 3 days
    Toning                      2 days
    Gilding on Leather          2 days
    Book edge Gilding           2 days
    Gilding on Glass            2 days
    Verre Eglomise              3 days
    Manuscript Illumination     2 days

The conference is taking place on the campus of Loyola University in
Downtown Chicago.  Special lodging rates at Loyola are available for
attendees.  In addition there are lectures and social events.
