Conference on Joshua Reynolds

Tickets are now available for Challenging Materials: Joshua Reynolds
and Artistic Experiment in the Eighteenth Century, a one day
conference at the Wallace Collection, London, co-organised with the
Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art.

The conference accompanies the exhibition Joshua Reynolds:
Experiments in Paint, and will investigate and contextualise the
artist's famously experimental practice, building on a number of
recent conservation projects.
