Manuscript conservator Trinity College Library .5 years fixed term contract, Full Time Trinity College Library has been awarded an Art Conservation grant from the Bank of America Merrill Lynch to fund the treatment, technical examination, digitisation and art historical study of four of Trinity College Dublin Library's most important early medieval Irish manuscripts; the Codex Usserianius Primus, the Garland of Howth, the Book of Dimma, and the Book of Mulling. The successful candidate will work within the project team specifically on the conservation of these early Irish manuscripts in the Library's collection. You will also be involved in selecting and implementing re-housing solutions and preparing items for digitization.
