COLOURS2015: Bridging Science with Art

COLOURS2015 intends to promote a forum between the several
disciplines that study colour in its wide perspectives in art
(chemistry and physics, physiology, psychology, archaeology,
geology, history, history of art, architecture and
conservation-restoration) and to bring together scientists from both
analytical and conservation fields to discuss the most recent
advances in technology applied to colour imaging, diagnosis and
conservation-restoration of colour in cultural heritage

Conference topics:

    Colour history and symbolism in cultural heritage

    Colour materials and their origin

    Colour deterioration: case studies in conservation and
    restoration

    Science and technology applied to colour studies
