MCS has an opportunity for a paid internship of up to six months for
a conservator specialising in works of art on paper.  An interest in
photographic conservation would be an advantage.  This would suit a
newly qualified conservator or a conservator with limited post
qualification experience.

MCS works on a wide variety of artworks of all media types, dates
and sizes. The studio also carries out mounting and framing.

The intern will gain practical conservation experience alongside
other conservators in our spacious and well equipped conservation
studios at Duxford just outside Cambridge, UK.  Additional learning
opportunities will be provided through visits to other studios and
events.

Successful completion of the internship may lead to appointment to a
substantive position within the company.
