DigCCurr Professional Institute Curation Practices for the Digital Object Lifecycle University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill May 31 - June 5, 2015 and January 12-13, 2016 (One price for two sessions) For more information visit <URL:http://ils.unc.edu/digccurr/institute.html> Registration: <URL:http://tinyurl.com/oms2mny> The Institute consists of one five-day session in June 2015 and a two-day follow-up session in January 2016. The summer event begins at 6 PM on Sunday, May 31, 2015 with a welcome and opening event. Each day of the summer session will include lectures, discussion and hands-on "lab" components. A course pack and a private, online discussion space will be provided to supplement learning and application of the material. An opening reception dinner on Sunday, Continental breakfast, break time snacks and coffee, and a dinner on Tuesday will also be included. This institute is designed to foster skills, knowledge and community-building among professionals responsible for the curation of digital materials.
