Beva 371 film in display cases

Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) can pose a risk to easel
paintings, particularly upon enclosing paintings inside a sealed
enclosure. I would be very interested to know if the adhesives that
are typically considered by paintings conservators have been
scientifically tested for VOC emissions. Would it be a problem, for
example, to enclose a painting which has been recently treated with
Beva 371 Film inside a sealed showcase?
