Based in Clerkenwell and administered by the City of London, its holdings run to around 100km of documents from 1067 to the present. LMA holds local government and other records for the Greater London area and the City of London. These collections have been awarded designated status by the Museums Libraries and Archives Council. LMA is an Accredited Archive Service. LMA is recruiting for two posts in connection with two grant funded projects fixed term for 8 months and 12 months respectively. The post holders will be required to carry out conservation treatments based on up-to-date techniques on the full range of formats present in the collections, to package items appropriately, to communicate through a programme of academic, professional and public engagement, and liaise effectively with all members of staff in support of the project work. Applicants will have a recognised qualification in the fields of paper, archive or book conservation or equivalent. Experience of working in an archive would be an advantage.
