Internships The National Center for Preservation Technology and Training (NCPTT) The National Center for Preservation Technology and Training (NCPTT), an office of the U.S. National Park Service, seeks students and recent graduates to undertake laboratory or field research in archeology, architecture, engineering, collections management, historic landscapes, and materials science. This summer, we are also offering a special internship opportunity in petrographic analysis of building stones for students or young professionals with a background in geology, mineralogy, or other related field. Internships last ten weeks, beginning on or about June 1, 2015 and ending August 7, 2015. Compensation is based on experience, including academic experience.
