Conservator Otago Museum Dunedin, New Zealand Full time Permanent Position The Otago Museum is seeking an experienced professional to assist with conservation activities within the Museum. The Museum holds a diverse and significant collection encompassing wood, metal, textiles, plastics, stone, ceramics, glass and natural history specimens. The Conservator will work within a team to enhance the longevity, stability and accessibility of collection items for the Otago community and further afield. The successful applicant will have the knowledge, qualifications, and experience to carry out conservation and collection care activities according to the highest professional standards and practices. Experience of textile or natural history collections would be advantageous as would experience in contract or private conservation work.
