At the time Pro-Team was a very popular brand and the company was doing very well. They may still be but I haven't dealt with them since then. The vacuums themselves were easy to use but a little cumbersome to wear. When I would use them in our home office I would carry the backpack with one hand and use the wand with the other. For larger spaces such as departments stores, which is what most of our clients were, they had to be worn. As with any backpack vacuum, as they filled they became heavier to wear. The tube-shape of their canister wasn't as ergonomic as some the later versions that would come out. The filters, bags and other non-motor parts were easy to acquire and change out of the machine. The idea was they were supposed to be convenient, take up little space but also do a good job of sucking up dirt and such, which they did. For custodial vacuuming work here our Utility workers use Nilfisk backpack style vacuum cleaners but they are all old and need to be replaced. For conservation work I prefer Euroclean hip vacs but use a Nilfisk Ergoclean due to its price and how often I actually use it. My Nilsfisk Ergoclean does not have the power that the Eurocleans do but for the work I do here it is sufficient.
