The new normal is utilizing students, interns, and volunteers in our
archives. Join some archivists with experience on these topics for a
two-part educational session.

In the morning, Liza Posas, Head Librarian/Archivist of the Braun
Research Library, the Autry National Center, and LA as Subject
Coordinator, will present a workshop on managing unpaid workers,
including about developing a work plan, managing expectations,
match-making the person and the project, and mentoring.

In the afternoon, Joanne Lammers, Director of the Archive at the
Writers Guild Foundation will lead a panel discussion on these
topics. Panelists include Jackie Dooley, Program Officer for OCLC
Research and Immediate Past President of SAA, and Liza Posas.
Questions from the audience will be encouraged.

    Institutional Members: $60.00
    Non-members: $90.00
    SCA members: $60.00
    Students: $50.00

Scholarship Available: The Walter P. Gray III Education Endowment
Fund Scholarship offers funds up to $200 for registration and travel
