Conservator German Leathermuseum The DLM Ledermuseum/Shoemuseum Offenbach combines three museums under one roof: the largest Shoe Museum in Europe with international footwear from four millennia, the Museum for Applied Art and Industry (Focus Leather) and the Ethnological Museum. The Museum is looking for a full time Conservator in one of the following specialities: Leather and related Materials, textile, textile/leather, ethnology/arts and crafts The position, which is a full time position, includes Preservation/conservation, Collection maintenance and co responsibility for the depots,Conservational maintenance of loans, Courier trips, Installation and dismantling of exhibitions, Active participation in restoration workshops and the training and further training of students, trainees etc. Qualifications: The applicant must have conservation qualifications at Master's degree within the above mentioned subject fields, or equivalent professional experience.
