Call for Papers for the 40th annual CAC-ACCR Conference
Quebec City
June 4-8, 2014

Submission deadline: December 22, 2013

Come join us in Quebec City for the 2014 conference, which will be
held at the Musee de la civilisation in Old Quebec. A two-day
preconference workshop on various subjects under the theme The
Conservation of Built Heritage will take place on June 4-5, 2014.
Invited speakers and conservators from the Centre de conservation du
Quebec will lead discussions and present case studies.

The conference itself will be held from June 6-8, 2014. Abstracts on
all aspects of conservation are invited, including theory,
treatment, preventive conservation, outreach and advocacy. A special
session during the conference will be devoted to built heritage.

There are two ways to present: by submitting an abstract for either
a 20-minute presentation or a poster. Abstracts must be between
300-500 words, written in English with French translation if
available. Please include the title of the presentation, the
name(s) of the author(s), mailing address, telephone number, and the
name and e-mail address of the presenter. Participation from
students, new members and professionals in allied fields is
encouraged. Abstracts will be published and should therefore
contain all essential details, main results and conclusions.

Please submit abstracts by December 22, 2013 to

    Stephanie Gagne
    Conference Program Chair
    stephanie.gagne<-at->mcc<.>gouv<.>qc<.>ca

(12 pt Arial font, double-spaced) and indicate "Call for
Papers CAC 2014" in the subject line.

A selection committee will review abstracts and notify speakers
around January 30, 2014.

Please consult the CAC website as the conference date approaches for
more information on the conference and workshop programmes, special
events and local arrangements.
