Subject: Tours of Glasgow Cathedral
Historic Scotland Insight Event Glasgow Cathedral September 27, 2013 Historic Scotland is running a series of behind the scenes conservation tours, giving participants the opportunity to see up close the conservation work at Glasgow Cathedral. Come along, climb the scaffold and meet with the experts and workforce behind maintaining one of Glasgow's most well know landmarks. The tours will include a visit to the stone masons' yard, a talk on previous and current works being undertaken and an exclusive bird's eye view of the city from the scaffold. There will be two tours a day, each lasting an hour and a half. Spaces are strictly limited. If sold out please email hazel.johnson2<-at->scotland<.>gsi<.>gov<.>uk to be placed on a reserve list. Full PPE will be provided by Historic Scotland. Over 18s only. Please read the Guidance for Participants.
