Total remuneration package to $138,450 (Salary: $108,242 - $125,181)
including employer's contribution to superannuation and leave
loading.

The Manager, Collection Preservation and Storage leads, manages and
provides strategic advice on the delivery of physical and digital
preservation, conservation and onsite and offsite storage services
for the State Library's collections.

The Collection Preservation and Storage Branch develops and
implements preservation, storage and treatment policies for all
material formats in the Library's collections. The Branch is also
responsible for the collections conservation program, which
maintains client access to collections through their maintenance;
treatment of individual items identified by client request; and
processing of new acquisitions to the collection ensuring they are
accessible.

Selection Criteria:

    The following selection criteria forms a specific part of the
    selection process. Applicants must address each of the criteria
    by responding to the selection criteria questions in the

    Relevant tertiary qualifications and extensive knowledge of
    physical and/or digital preservation; extensive knowledge of
    conservation and storage policy, procedures and standards
    nationally and internationally.

    Significant leadership experience in delivering physical and/or
    digital preservation, conservation and storage services.

    Highly developed communication, presentation and interpersonal
    skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate and build
    partnerships with internal and external clients and colleagues.

    Highly developed people leadership skills including a well
    developed ability to develop and motivate staff and implement
    and manage change effectively

    Highly developed financial management, organisational,
    analytical and conceptual skills and demonstrated ability to
    scope and implement complex projects

    Extensive knowledge of current developments in physical and
    digital preservation, conservation and storage services and the
    application of new technologies, and a demonstrated commitment
    to innovation and continuous improvement

    Sound experience in policy and strategy development and
    implementation, and in applying corporate strategies and polices
    to the management of a unit

    Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to the principles of EEO,
    work health and safety and ethical practice and their
    application in the workplace.
