PhD studentship on Modern British Oil Paint Courtauld Institute of Art and Tate An opportunity has arisen for a collaborative PhD studentship to be hosted by the Courtauld Institute of Art and Tate, London and supervised by Dr. Aviva Burnstock and Dr. Bronwyn Ormsby. The research area is Modern British Oil Paints: history, formulation and use. Candidates will ideally have a scientific background or experience of scientific and technical study of art and be interested in undertaking scientific research.
