PVC strip curtaining

I have a gallery that has two open doorways which provide visitor
access but I need to run two humidifiers to maintain a stable RH in
the gallery in early spring next year. To maintain the RH levels I
am considering pedestrian PVC strip curtaining as used in warehouse
areas and wondered if anyone had tried them and what results they
had? I am particularly interested how they affected visitors access
and whether they walked though them or avoided them.
