Survey on 3D imaging

From: Mona Hess <m.hess<-at->
Date: Thursday, July 25, 2013
This is an invitation for the international Museum and Cultural
heritage professionals to participate in an online survey. The
survey is part of my ongoing PhD: Development of a best practice for
3D imaging in museum documentation and cultural heritage.

Scope of this survey is to find out about current uptake of 3D
imaging and to establish a set of requirements for 3D images to make
them fit-for-purpose for the workflow in museums, memory
institutions and cultural heritage. I would be delighted to hear
what your think are barriers in the uptake of 3D, but also where you
see future developments. I am also interested in your opinion if you
have not yet worked with 3D.

There will be 25 questions and it should take approximately 35
minutes to answer them. Please skip some of the tables if you think
it is too long. But if you are using 3D actively in your research, I
would be very interested in every aspect of your work.

Please feel free to forward this invitation to your colleagues or
students who are interested in 3D digital documentation.

Thank you very much in advance for your time and contribution. You
will greatly contribute to my PhD work and I hope to work with you
in future.
