Conservator, Paintings NGA Level 6 Position No. 5013 $74,064 - $85,610 pa The Conservator, Paintings works within a small team in the Conservation Department. The ability to carry out advanced treatments, a highly developed knowledge of the methods of technical and scientific examination of paintings as well as the requirements for the handling, display, packing, storage and transportation of a wide variety of paintings and associated material are required. The successful applicant will have professional training and qualifications in the conservation of a broad range of easel paintings and substantial recent practical experience in paintings conservation of at least three years.
