Survey on Professional Accreditation of Conservator-Restorers (PACR)

PACR Quinquennial Review 2013

Please help to shape PACR for the future.

Icon (Institute of Conservation) is undertaking the third
quinquennial review of PACR (Professional Accreditation of
Conservation-Restorers) with the assistance of the National
Conservation Service. This review follows on from the previous
evaluations of 2003 and 2008, which enabled PACR to grow and evolve.
An integral part of the review procedure will be gathering
commentary and views from all those who come into contact, and
interact, with PACR, across the conservation community and its
stakeholders.

Two surveys have been created.

for PACR accredited and non-accredited conservators, students,
trainees, those seeking work in conservation, technicians,
    interns

for employers / commissioners of conservators

Each survey should take no more than 20 minutes to complete. Please
take time to answer at least one of these surveys--your contribution
to this 2013 review process will be gratefully received. It is
important that these surveys are completed by a wide a range of
respondents, so please encourage colleagues, and those who do not
subscribe to this list, to take part too.

Closing date: Friday 5 July, midnight.

Thank you for your help in further developing and extending this
important process.
