Endoscope camera

We are looking to purchase an endoscope camera for diverse
applications. Concerning its features, a wide angle lens would be an
added value and compatibility with both a rigid and a flexible tube
can also be of interest. Furthermore storage of obtained data is an
important asset.

Does anyone have experience with the use of an endoscopic camera?
Any advice concerning issues that require attention when purchasing
or recommendation of a specific camera type is more than welcome.
