The Image Permanence Institute (IPI), Rochester Institute of
Technology, Rochester, NY, is offering a set of three digital print
workshops designed to appeal to various groups by allowing them to
register for one, two, or all three for the week. The workshops will
be held November 11-15, 2013 at the Image Permanence Institute.

    Museum and Archive Professionals

Workshop Details: Those with an interest in how fine art inkjet
prints are made will benefit from attending the first session:

    "History, Aesthetics and Craft of the Fine Art Digital Print"

presented by Ryan Boatright. In addition, those who are interested
in receiving a complete overview of the knowledge and skills needed
to care for the digitally printed materials in collections will
benefit from attending the Preservation of Digitally Printed
Materials for Libraries, Archives, and Museums Workshop

immediately following, presented by Daniel Burge.

Additionally, Alice Carver-Kubik will be presenting An Introduction
to Graphics Atlas

a free 1/2 day workshop which will be presented between the first
two workshops. Graphics Atlas is a new online resource that brings
sophisticated print identification, characterization, and
exploration tools to archivists, curators, historians, collectors,
conservators, and the general public. Register for one, two, or all
three workshops.
