"Conservation Applications of Remoistenable Tissue"

The Israeli Society for the Conservation and Preservation of
Cultural Property(ISCPCP) is pleased to host Abigail Quandt, Senior
conservator of rare books and manuscripts at the Walters Art Museum,
Baltimore, for a Lecture and workshop on "Conservation Applications
of Remoistenable Tissue". The event will take place on May 21, 2013,
at the Israel Museum, Jerusalem.

The lecture will be given in two parts: part (a) will review
projects of conservation of rare manuscripts, and part (b) will
present the conservation of the Archimedes Palimpsest.

Registration to the workshop is already closed; however,
registration to the lecture is still open. Fees for members of
ISCPCP: 80 NIS, non-members: 120 NIS. For a full program of the day
