Assistant Sculpture Conservator
Tate
UKP23,129 per annum

We are seeking an experienced sculpture conservator to work within
our Sculpture Conservation team in support of the Tate St. Ives and
the Loans Out Programme. Day-to-day, you will concentrate on
assessing, preparing and treating works of art within the Collection
and on supporting all related programme activity.

You will hold a recognised qualification in the Conservation of
Sculpture or Objects (or equivalent experience) and have proven
experience assessing, treating and documenting sculptures. It is
essential to have good problem-solving, time-management and planning
skills, and to be an effective communicator. You will need to be

both ethical and practical issues, and provide specialist advice for
storage, packing, transport and installation of works of art. Good
end-user IT skills are required and experience with modern and
contemporary sculptures and sculptural installations is desirable.
