Whether you want to learn how to repair ceramics, you are a
collector wishing to identify repairs, or someone considering a
career in ceramic conservation, this taster weekend is just what you
are looking for. It is a unique opportunity to learn from Lynne
Edge; the only professionally accredited conservator- restorer of
ceramics and glass in the North West and midlands.

Course Content

    Understanding your ceramic object
    Choosing the correct materials for the job
    Removal of previous repairs
    Cleaning methods
    Bonding simple and multiple breaks
    Filling small missing areas
    Colour matching and hand retouching
    Related health and safety considerations

Participant will be required to bring 3-4 items they wish to learn
about/work on,

Cost: UKP200 (Materials, tools course notes and refreshments
provided),
