CHARISMA workshop

Application of Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) to structural
    analysis

27-28 June 2013

Organized under the CHARISMA EU project

This two-day training event will be dedicated to traditional and
innovative applications of optical coherence tomography (OCT) to the
examination of cultural heritage objects. The first day will focus
on the scientific background and a review of the state-of-the-art of
OCT, as well as applications to cultural heritage. The second day
will be devoted to hands-on training. Various objects will be
provided by the organizers, but participants are encouraged to bring
their own samples,

There will be no admission fee.

Invitation for submission of oral presentations or posters:

    Submissions of case study reports are kindly invited (restricted
    to applications of OCT to cultural heritage objects) to be
    presented during the first day of the workshop. The abstracts
    (1-2 pages) should be sent to Piotr Targowski
    <oct4art<-at->fizyka<.>umk<.>pl>

Deadline: 15 April 2013.
Authors will be notified about acceptance before 30 April 2013.
