Paintings Conservator Olin Conservation, Inc. Olin Conservation, Inc. is a private conservation firm, established in the 1960s, treating easel and wall paintings. Our central studio is located in the Washington, DC Metropolitan region and we currently maintain an annex studio in New York City. We are seeking a qualified candidate to fill a second opening for full time Paintings Conservator. The term is anticipated to be at least one year and is available immediately. We have numerous projects in the public and private sector, including some well known collections of 18th and 19th American art. The majority of the work will be conducted in our Northern VA studio, with the likelihood of some on site in Washington DC, New York City and other regions in the United States. We are seeking an experienced, post-graduate candidate with an additional 2-3 years experience in painting conservation who is eager to participate in and meaningfully contribute to a rigorous schedule with interesting challenges. The applicant must be able to legally work in the US. We may be able to provide temporary housing in Northern VA in order to facilitate filling the position.
