walking tour of Southwark, London

The Historic Interiors Section of ICON is hosting a one hour walking
tour of Southwark, London finishing at the George Inn for wine and
cheese.  In addition to what will not doubt be an interesting walk
through a fascinating but sometimes neglected area of historic
London, it will be a chance for conservation professionals to meet
up and exchange thoughts and experiences. The wine and cheese
gathering will take place in the Grade I listed 17th century George
Inn, London's only remaining galleried coaching inn.

Attendees are to meet at the George Inn, George Inn Yard, 77 Borough
High Street, Southwark, London SE1 1NH at 17.50.  The walking tour
will  leave from the pub at 18.00.  The wine and cheese reception
will be 19.00 - 21.00.

The cost, including the tour and refreshments, is UKP10.00 for
members and UKP15.00 for non-members.

Please book early as places are limited.  Please include your ICON
membership number on the reverse of the cheque (if relevant).
