Join the International Conservation Center - Citta di Roma in Old
Acre, Israel this year, and make it a time to 'conserve' in one of
the longest continually inhabited cities in the world. We are proud
to introduce two exciting new Practical Conservation Training
workshops this summer, to add to our already thriving Saving the
Stones internship. Held at the campus of the Center in the
inscribed UNESCO World Heritage Site of Old Acre, our programming
provides intimate access to the veritable living laboratory for the
study and application of practical heritage conservation methods and
skills.

On site practical training with ongoing conservation projects, such
as mortar and stone preservation at the Western Wall Tunnels, mosaic
conservation at Caesarea, and historic building technologies in
Acre. All programming includes accommodation, site visits and study
trips, all course activities and materials, transportation during
the program, and additional cultural events.
