We are pleased to announce the Call for Papers of the Technart 2013
meeting hosted by the Rijksmuseum from 23-27 September 2013.

Deadline for abstract submission is 15 March 2013.

The goal of Technart 2013 is to provide a scientific forum for
analytical and conservation scientists to advance and apply
analytical spectroscopic techniques to materials in art and
archaeology.

The local Technart 2013 organizing committee is working together
with the Scientific Research Working group of ICOM-CC in the program
organization in order to build bridges between the conservation and
the analytical sciences.

Special Conference Topics in relation to Cultural Heritage Issues
are:

    Correlative microscopy: combining microscopic and spectroscopic
    techniques

    Advances in non-invasive spectroscopic techniques

    Imaging 2 and 3D analytical techniques using X-rays, Neutrons,
    Electrons and Light

    Microanalysis of organic constituents using mass spectrometry
    and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy

    Progress in proteomics and immunological approaches to
    characterize proteins in works of art and archaeological objects

Please be aware of "Painting Techniques", a conference at the
Rijksmuseum in the week prior to Technart 2013 held from 18-12
September.

Deadline for abstract submission 1 April 2013
