Join us for this free event; an informal visit to an Adam grade II
townhouse in Portland Place Marylebone to see the first floor front
drawing room.  Office partitions and the suspended ceiling from the
1950s have recently been removed to reveal a very fine but badly
damaged ceiling and a number of other period features.  The visit
will include a tour and talk about the discovery, the ceiling, and
the forth-coming conservation project.

The room is dusty from the recent works so wear old clothes.

After the tour, all are welcome to a mews pub nearby for a drink and
lunch.

on receiving your RSVP.  Nearest tubes are Oxford Circus and Regents
Park.  Maximum numbers for this visit are 30, so" so a great chance
