Field Service Program Assistant Position
Balboa Art Conservation Center (BACC)

The Balboa Art Conservation Center (BACC), a regional, cooperative
art conservation organization is seeking a full-time Field Service
Program Assistant.

This position, part of a staff of ten, reports to the Assistant
Director for Field Services and performs day-to-day administrative
support for the Western Region Field Service Program (WRFSP), as
well as contributes support to general operations of the Center. The
Field Service Program Assistant coordinates and tracks response to
information requests; schedules and makes arrangements for
consultations and survey activities; and prepares survey reports.
This position will be responsible for managing marketing efforts by
developing, compiling, and formatting materials for distribution via
print, email, website, and social media. In support of BACC's
conservation services, the individual will provide office support
including records management at the institutional and project level,
and will be responsible for updating databases, files and
registering incoming and outgoing objects according to established
procedures and in keeping with museum registration methods.
Preference will be given to candidates with museum and collections
care experience.
