Mellon Fellowship in Paper Conservation
The Museum of Modern Art, New York

The Museum of Modern Art offers a one-year renewable fellowship in
the conservation of works of art on paper beginning in September
2013.  The applicant should be a graduate of a recognized
conservation training program. The Paper Conservation Department
works closely with many curatorial departments: Prints and
Illustrated Books, Drawings, Architecture and Design and Film. The
candidate will work on a wide range of modern and contemporary works
and participate in all departmental activities including courier
responsibilities.  An emphasis will be placed on assisting the three
member permanent Paper Conservation staff in the treatment of
collection materials for exhibition and loan.

The closing date for applications is January 31, 2013. Salary is
$40,000.00 plus generous benefits, including four weeks paid
vacation. Applicants should send a statement of interest resume with
a list of references and an electronic portfolio containing two
