CSI South East Museums project

The CSI South East Museums team has been engaged to assess
conservation needs and deliver practical conservation to museums in
the South East region. The project runs from November 2012 until
March 2013.

We would like to hear from local freelance conservators who have
worked on material from museums in Kent, Medway, Sussex and Surrey,
during the past 5-10 years, and if anyone knows of any special
collections in the region we should be aware of.

We are running a series of Conservation road shows for museum staff
and volunteers where we will be showing a range of conservation
disciplines, explaining how museums can gain from the project and
inviting museums to submit objects to be considered for free
conservation as part of the project.

If any local conservators are interested in attending these or
participating in the project, do please get in contact with the
team. Please also encourage your local museum staff and volunteers
to attend the road shows.

December 20, 2012. Forms are available online and at the road show
events, or by application to the CSI team.
