Subject: CCI light damage slide rule sought
Do you remember the CCI light damage slide rulers? Do you still have one sitting unused in a drawer? Would you be interested in donating it to the University of Delaware and Iraqi Institute for the Conservation of Antiquities and Heritage programs? In 1989, CCI introduced a light damage slide rule used to compare the effects of varying light intensities and exposure times on color fading. These slide rules are still an important part of training undergraduates and participants in the Iraqi Heritage training programs; however, they are no longer available for purchase. If you have one, and are not using it, we would be interested in putting it to use! If you have one, please contact Vicki Cassman at vcassman<-at->udel<.>edu, or it can be mailed to Dr. Vicki Cassman Department of Art Conservation 303 Old College Newark, DE 19716 *** Conservation DistList Instance 26:20 Distributed: Sunday, October 7, 2012 Message Id: cdl-26-20-020 ***Received on Thursday, 27 September, 2012
