New Zealand Conservators of Cultural Material (NZCCM) Annual Conference Dunedin New Zealand 7-9 November 2012 The New Zealand Conservators of Cultural Material (NZCCM) will be holding their annual Conference on 7-9 November 2012 at the Dunedin Public Art Gallery. This year we aim to explore the many ways in which science assists and supports the work of conservators across all of the specialty areas. Keynote speakers: Making Every Lumen Count Kit Cuttle Lighting Consultant, Auckland The identification of feather and hair in the Museum of New Zealand's ethnological collections Hokimate Harwood Bicultural Science Researcher Matauranga Maori Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa The 2 days of conference papers will be followed by a polarised light microscopy workshop at the University of Otago, as well as various tours in and around the city.
