Subject: Course on fluid preservation of biological specimens
Simon Moore's ever-popular four day fluid preservation course is due to take place yet again at the Horniman Museum 100 London Rd Forest Hill, London SE23 3PQ 3-6 December 2012 The course will take the usual four day format and the cost is UKP270 for the four days and will cover all aspects of fluid preservation and conservation of fluid-preserved specimens. The course comprises PowerPoint presentations each day for about 1 hour and the rest of the day is devoted entirely to practical work. Members of NatSCA may apply for bursaries to help cover costs. Full handouts (including risk assessments) are included in the cost and accommodation can be sought in the local area.
