Workshop "Textile Stabilization Using Sheer Overlays" The Campbell Center for Historic Preservation Studies September 17-19, 2012 The tuition is $885 and includes lodging and most meals. Partial scholarships may be available. The workshop is being taught Camille Myers Breeze, Textile Conservator in private practice. This hands-on workshop will explore the use net, silk sheer and synthetic sheer overlays for textile stabilization. The pros and cons of each will be discussed. Participants will learn how to use all three of these materials and how to make the best choice for a given situation.
