Conservator USS Monitor The Mariners' Museum The Mariners' Museum seeks a full time Conservator for the USS Monitor Center. The Conservator works directly for the Director, USS Monitor Center in the conservation and maintenance of USS Monitor artifacts, with a primary focus on organic artifacts. This individual works closely with the conservation staff and other Museum staff to conserve artifacts and prepare them for exhibition. A Master's degree in conservation or related field is required. A minimum of four years specialized conservation experience, including work on waterlogged organic archaeological materials is required.
